I have always felt a connection with animals from an early age. I started by self teaching how to train dogs when I was in High School. After college, I felt that I needed to come back to my roots and became a Certified Canine Trainer and Behavioral Specialist through ABI. I spend my time Volunteering at a local rescue and am currently a foster home for dogs needing rehabilitation.
I want to share my passion and knowledge with others as every animal deserves a chance to be the best they can with time, patience, and training.

Please remember that animals new to your home need time to decompress. As with people, we all need time to adjust to change Many behaviors that people see are just your companions' way of telling you that they feel insecure for with their new surroundings. The first three months they need your love and understanding more than ever.
To book an evaluation please go to https://doggiedashboard.com/users/0c1ee3862be6fc389432
When booking please specify the type of service you are looking for that way we know the amount of time needed for evaluation. Services offered are In-Home obedience training, behavioral modification, day training, Board/Train, boarding, and daycare.
We are also certified for Canine Good Citizen Evaluations.
Leroy was a foster we had that came to the rescue as a stray. Leroy most likely had never been in a home. When we got him home he marked everything and had a huge fixation on our cats. He was a Australian Kelpie and they are known for their energy. By the time he left for his forever home Leroy was fully house trained and kenneled trained. He also had less interest in the cats.
June was a our second foster. We almost foster failed with this one because she was so loving. June had some guarding issues when it came to bones but we worked through that.
Prim came to the shelter I volunteer at in 2019. She came from a hoarding situation and was left to fen for herself when the floods came in Northwestern Iowa. Prim had little to no socialization when she first came in. Since we started fostering her in December of 2019 she has come so far. She at first wouldn't allow you near her but now is allowing pets and loves. We adopted on March 1st of 2020
We love caring for pets! To schedule please request an appointment at https://doggiedashboard.com/users/0c1ee3862be6fc389432 Once we receive the request we will be in touch to schedule an evaluation.
